Tree stories

An exhibition at WSL

Understanding the language of the tree rings opens up a world of discovery - whether about the past climate or the events in the lifetime of a tree.

The exhibition "Tree Stories" in the reception area of the WSL provides an interactive and vivid insight into these "libraries" of nature. Parts of this exhibition are virtually accessible here. We wish you an exciting read.

Tree-ring research at WSL

WSL operates one of the largest tree-ring laboratories worldwide. This film (in German) illustrates some of the activities involved.
